Requirements
As part of our clients' global data science team you will be joining a department that is responsible for growing the company’s data maturity levels by using data to improve decision making, launching better products and services and impacting positive customer experiences.
As a Senior Data Scientist you will develop and apply deep learning and predictive modelling methods to steer commercial progress and improve technical processes across the organisation.
Leveraging your long track-record in data analytics you will also help management teams in making business decisions through better data science methods and technologies.
The organisation is dedicated to driving innovation through data and technology, and it is imperative the candidate enjoys out-of-the-box thinking and keep abreast of the latest developments in data science and artificial intelligence.
Being a senior member of the team means you will help influence senior leaders, be comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy leading small projects and mentoring junior members of the team if required.
A background in Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or other related experience.
Knowledge of building and deploying predictive models
Hands-on experience working with Python, Julie, R, Matlab, Spark, Hadoop, Docker, AWS / Azure
Diverse Knowledge of Libraries (scikit, numpy, tensorflow, dplyr, xgboost etc)
Understanding of broad range of algorithms (deep learning, regression, gradient boosting, random forest, decision trees etc
Strong understanding of software development tools and techniques including GIT, CI/CD, and RestAPIs
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions
