Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
For an innovative organisation in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our clients’ rapidly growing product development team. You will be joining a team of developers who actively contribute to the development of their core platform which is built using Javascript, Typescript, Node.js and Angular - although ability across a range of front and back end technology will make you a great fit!

Requirements
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will contribute to a range of exciting greenfield requirements across the product suite, contributing to the design, development and implementation of the core platform, APIs, and related User Interface (s). You will lean towards back-end development using JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js (or similar) but have a strong appreciation for front-end development and have good knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular, and / or Vue.
You will be joining a team of high-calibre engineers with strong academic backgrounds, and you will enjoy technical discussion around design, development and software engineering best-practice. Supported by a team of DevOps Engineers and Product design specialists, the Full Stack Software Engineer must have strong communication skills and enjoy working in highly collaborative teams.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will have a minimum of Eight years commercial experience, and be a passionate technologist with an interest in emerging and interdisciplinary topics including agentic systems, machine learning, data analytics, computational modelling etc. You will also enjoy experimentation with new technologies outside your comfort zone (e.g Rust, Python, Next.js, NoSQL, SQL, Express.js etc).
To Summarise, the Senior Full Stack Engineer will have the following skills and competencies:
You bring proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript and Typescript development
Proven experience in backend development using Node.js (or similar)
Solid understanding of API and User Interface development (REST API etc)
Good experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue
Passion for emerging and new technologies outside of your comfort zone (Rust, Python, Next.js, NoSQL, SQL, Express.js etc)
Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
Commercial experience using Git
Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
